The Primary Catholic Partnership offers school centred teacher training (SCITT) to those who wish to work as teachers in faith and secular schools.  The course is supported by the Diocese of Portsmouth with St Mary’s University College (Twickenham).  

We offer:

A PGCE for the full primary age range with the opportunity to gain credits towards a Masters degree in Education
A 40 week course with over 20 weeks spent in schools
A supportive Christian environment where trainees are treated as individuals
Placements in high quality primary schools in Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, North Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
Tuition fees below the national average
A training bursary of £4000.
Qualifications required: Hons degree (2.2 or above); GCSE Grade C or above in English, Maths & Science; experience in an English Primary School
