GOAN WELFARE SOCIETY

The Goan Welfare Society UK is registered with the Charity Commissioners.


 
The objects of the Charity shall be:

 

 

i)                    The relief of those persons of Goan origin in particular but not exclusively, resident in the  United Kingdom or elsewhere in the world as the Committee shall from time to time determine who are in conditions of need, hardship and distress, or who are aged, sick or bereaved.

 

ii)                   To safeguard, protect and preserve the health, both mental and physical of persons in the United Kingdom as the Committee shall in their discretion think fit.

 

iii)                 To relieve sickness and poverty amongst necessitious person, in particular (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) the relief of members of the Goan Community.

 

iv)                 To advance the development and integration of the Goan Community in the United Kingdom by providing financial and other support as the Committee sees fit.
